Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, APIO 2023, hosted by China Computer Federation, was held on 20th May online from countries and regions in the world, and CCF organized the international event online. APIO 2023 China was held on 18th-22nd, May in Nanjing by Nanjing Foreign Language School.

APIO2023, is the second time since 2010 that China hosted APIO, attracts total 37 teams from different countries and regions participating. In addition to countries in Asia Pacific region, Egypt, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico also participated in APIO 2023, with the number of teams reaching the highest in history. Meanwhile, APIO 2023 China event continues the successful practice of APIO 2022, to hold both on-site and online activities.
