Since beginning publication in 2019, CCS Chemistry has adhered to the original goal of "creating an independent world-class chemistry journal in China and publishing outstanding research results that have a real impact on the field of chemistry." CCS Chemistry has continued to pay attention to, support, and help chemists worldwide. The influence of the journal is growing, and the number of submissions has increased year by year. CCS Chemistry  is included in Scopus, CAS, DOAJ, ESCI, and other databases.

So far, more than 900 articles from different countries and regions, including China, the United States, Germany, Japan, and Singapore, have been published, with 2.17 million downloads and a total of more than 13,000 citations. By the end of 2022, the total number of visits to the journal website platform exceeded 4.6 million, with international visits accounting for about half of the visits.

CCS Chemistry has successfully established itself as an international, high-quality venue for the publication of transformative results in chemistry and allied fields.
