Co-sponsored by the China Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) and the China Youth Daily, a special program under the theme of "Inspiring science" was initiated at the CSTM on September 6, 2023.

The program is expected to promote the Spirit of Chinese Scientists and value their influence on young people to serve the nation.

At the activity site, Liu He, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), shared his experience as a petroleum technology professional with the youngsters.

Liu Lianlian, student representative at the Rural Special Technology Service Centers of China Agricultural University, said that she would continue to explore the unknown fields and enjoy the charm of science to carry forward the Spirit of Chinese Scientists with young friends.

Yin Hao, member of the leading Party members group and concurrently curator of the CSTM, and Liu Jian, president of the China Youth Daily, attended the opening ceremony of the event.

The participants jointly launched the on-site exhibition of "Inspiring science" which included entities of the scientific dreams solicited among the young people across the country.

And numerous scientists and technologists were invited to answer the  questions about science and technology raised by the young people to nurture their curiosity about science and their eagerness for inquiring knowledge.

The exhibition will be open to the public for free at the CSTM until October 31, 2023.
