The 20th China Straits Innovation and Projects Fair CSIPF was successfully held in Fuzhou from June 18 to 20, 2022. The Fair widely connected domestic and foreign scientific and technological innovation resources, further promoted the science and technological transformations, and achieved fruitful results. The CSIPF fair is jointly sponsored by Fujian Tendering Purchasing Group Co.,Ltd, China National Nuclear Corporation, China Association of Inventions, China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Association and China Association for Promoting Employment and Entrepreneurship Services for Veterans.

By online and offline, the 20th China Straits Innovation and Projects Fair CSIPF focused on Fujian four major economies, setting up the exhibition halls for Digital Economy, Marine Economy, Green Economy and Cultural/Tourism Economy and a comprehensive innovation hall with the Innovation Achievements exhibition, State-owned Enterprises’ Innovation Exhibition, Financial Services Exhibition, Land- Sea Cooperation Exhibition, etc. The total fair area is about 65,000 square meters. During the fair。There were also concurrent China (Fujian) Rural Revitalization Expo 2022, China (Southeast) Digital Intelligence Medical Industry Summit and the 1st China (Fujian) Digital Intelligence Medical Expo. 

Among them, the Innovation Achievement Exhibition staged the area for the 20th anniversary of the CSIPF fair, which spotlighted on a number of representative projects of the past events which effectively drove the local economic development. It is also the first time that the "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization" exhibition and a press conference on the achievements of ecological environment projects were held. A group of academicians, experts, scholars and financial institutions gathered together to show cutting-edge exploration as well as scientific research achievements and industrial practice for the target of "Carbon Peak and Neutralization" , and answered the questions of green development.

More than 1,100 enterprises participated in the fair. According to incomplete statistics, 361 projects were signed on site, with an amount of 71.19 billion yuan. At the same time, 31 meetings, forums, contract-signings and other activities were held. At the docking meeting for financial services to match up the Fujian's "four major economies" , 24 industrial and financial projects were signed collectively , with a total amount of more than 170 billion yuan, hitting a record high. At the press conference on the achievements of ecological environment projects of Fujian Province, the total contract amount of 30 projects exceeded 31 billion yuan, resulting 415 projects in total of 272.2 billion yuan during this event.

More than 1600 representatives of Fujian-origin entrepreneurs and people from all walks of life at home and abroad attended the conference at the main venue of the 7th World Fujian-origin Entrepreneurs Conference which was held at the same time. Also participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia and Hong Kong,SAR attended online video meetings. 

As an important platform for Fujian Province to implement the innovation driven development strategy, the Fair has been successfully held for 19 consecutive sessions since 2003. Over the past 20 years, the event has collected and introduced more than 100,000 scientific and technological project achievements, facilitated the transformation and implementation of more than 50,000 projects in Fujian, promoting the social investment of more than 900 billion yuan.
