    1. Zhang Yuzhuo
      Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group, Vice President and Chief Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST

      Zhang Yuzhuo, male, ethnic Han, was born in Shouguang City, Shandong Province in January 1962.

      He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in May 1985. He holds a doctorate degree in engineering and is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE).

      He is currently the Secretary of the Leading Party Member Group of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).

      In January 1997, he served as Vice President of the China Coal Research Institute (CCRI).

      In February 1998, he took a temporary post as Vice President of Yanzhou Mining (Group) Co., Ltd.

      In July 1998, he was appointed as Vice President of the CCRI, Director and Vice President of the China Coal Technology Group Corporation (CCTGC).

      In March 1999, he was appointed as President of CCRI and Chairman of CCTGC.

      Since June 1999, he had been President and Deputy Secretary of CCRI Party committee and Chairman and Deputy Secretary of CCTGC Party committee.

      In January 2002, he was appointed as Vice President of the China Shenhua and Chairman and President of the China Shenhua Coal to Liquid Co., Ltd.

      In August 2003, he assumed the office of Vice President of the China Shenhua, Member of its Leading Party Member Group and Chairman of the China Shenhua Coal to Liquid and Chemical Co., Ltd.

      In December 2008, he served as Director and President of the China Shenhua and Member of its Leading Party Member Group.

      From July 2009, he concurrently served as Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.

      In May 2014, he was appointed as Chairman and Secretary of Leading Party Member Group of the China Shenhua, and concurrently served as Chairman of the China Shenhua Energy Company Limited.

      In March 2017, he was appointed as Member of the Standing Committee of Tianjin Municipal Party committee and Secretary of Binhai New District Party committee. In May 2018, he began to serve as Director of the China (Tianjin) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration concurrently.

      In January 2020, he was appointed as Chairman of the Sinopec Group and Secretary of its Leading Party Member Group.

      Since July 2021, he has been the Secretary of the Leading Party Member Group of CAST. In August 2021, he was appointed as Chief Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST and elected Vice President of CAST.

      He is a deputy to the 15th and 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and an alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

    2. Xu Yanhao
      Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group of CAST

      Xu Yanhao, male, ethnic Han, was born in Shenyang City, northeast China's Liaoning Province in October 1962.

      He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1984, and began to work in July 1985. He is a MD and a professor of medicine and public health.

      He currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group of CAST.

      He previously served as Secretary of the Communist Youth League, Deputy Director and Director of the President's Office at China Medical University (CMU); Deputy Director of the General Planning Division, Director of the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Director of the Social Development Division, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development of Shenyang Science and Technology Commission; Vice President of the Shenyang Association for Science and Technology and President of the Shenyang Institute of Biotechnology; President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shenyang Medical College; Curator and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Science and Technology Museum.

      In May 2011, he became member of the Standing Committee, member of the Leading Party Members Group and executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST. In May 2016, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group, and was elected Vice President of the Association in June.

      Xu was a deputy to the 17th and 18th National Congress of the CPC, member of the 11th National Committee and the Committee of Science, Education, Culture, Health and Sports of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

      Xu is a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, and member of the Credentials Committee of the congress.

    3. Meng Qinghai
      Vice President, Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST

      Meng Qinghai, male, ethnic Han, was born in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, northeast China's Liaoning Province in November 1964.

      He began to work in July 1989.

      He holds a doctorate degree in engineering and is a senior engineer. He is a member of Jiusan Society.

      He currently serves as Vice President and Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).

      He used to work in the Ethylene Chemical Plant and the Equipment Research Institute of Fushun Petrochemical Company. In May 1997, he was nominated as Deputy Director of the Equipment Research Institute of the Third Petroleum Plant of Fushun Petrochemical Company. In February 1998, he was appointed as Chief Engineer of the Equipment Research Institute of the company.

      In November 1998, he was appointed as Assistant Director of Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Commission.

      Since May 2000, he successively held posts of Assistant to Director general and Deputy Director General of the Department of Science & Technology of Liaoning Province. Then he was nominated as Deputy Director of the Leading Office of S&T Innovation of Liaoning Province.

      Since July 2017, he has been the Chairman of Liaoning Provincial Committee and a member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of Jiusan Society.

      In January 2018, he was appointed as Vice Governor of Liaoning Province.

      In September 2018, he was appointed as Executive Secretary of the Secretariat and elected Vice President of CAST.

      He is a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress.

    4. Shu Wei
      Member of the Leading Party Members Group, Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST

      Shu Wei, male, ethnic Han, was born in Huzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province in December 1967.

      He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in October 1986 and began to work in August 1990.

      He graduated from the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University, and holds a doctorate in engineering.

      He currently serves as member of the Standing Committee, member of the Leading Party Members Group, and Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).

      He previously served as Secretary of the Communist Youth League, Head of the Branch of Student Affairs and School Security of the Party Committee at Tsinghua University.

      He was a visiting scholar at the City University of Hong Kong from December 1996 to September 1998.

      In June 2003, He was appointed Deputy Chief of Chaoyang District of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Director of the Beijing Central Business District Administration Committee, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Deputy Director and Deputy Secretary of the leading Party members group of Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce. In January 2013, he took up the post as Curator and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Science and Technology Museum.

      In January 2014, he was appointed as member of the Leading Party Members Group of CAST. In June 2016, he was elected as member of the Standing Committee, and appointed as Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST.

      In January 2014, he was appointed as member of the leading Party members group of CAST.

    5. Yin Hao
      Member of the Leading Party Members Group, Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST, Curator of the China Science and Technology Museum

      Yin Hao, male, ethnic Han, was born in north China's Tianjin City in August 1965..

      He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in May 1986 and began to work in July 1988. He holds a master degree's in engineers.

      He currently serves as member of the Standing Committee, member of the Leading Party Members Group and Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), concurrently Curator and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Science and Technology Museum.

      Since July 1988 when finishing his post graduate education, he successively served as cadre of the Engineering Department of Tianjin Pipe Corporation (TPCO), and in CAST as cadre of the Department of Science Popularization, principal staff member of the Factories and Mines Division of CAST; Secretary, Deputy Director and Director of the Secretaries Division of the General Office of CAST; Deputy Director General of the General Office, and Deputy Director General of the Department of Science Popularization of CAST.

      In January 2012, he was appointed as Deputy Curator and Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Science and Technology Museum.

      In April 2017, he was appointed as Curator and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Science and Technology Museum.

      In May 2018, he was appointed member of the Leading Party Members Group of CAST.

      In May 2021, he was elected member of the Standing Committee of CAST, and appointed as Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST.

    6. Wang Jinzhan
      Member of the Leading Party Members Group, Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST

      Wang Jinzhan, male, ethnic Han, was born in April 1972 in Qixia, east China's Shandong Province.

      He graduated from the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University with a master's degree in management and obtained a position as research fellow.

      He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1991 and began to work in August 1994.

      He currently serves as member of the Standing Committee, member of the Leading Party Members Group and Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).

      He previously workd in Tsinghua University and served as Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League Deputy Director of the Office of the Party Committee; Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy of Arts & Design; Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Office of the President.

      Since December 2012, he was successively appointed as Deputy Director General of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Deputy Director General and Director General of the National Communication Center for Science and Technology of CAST. In September 2018, he was appointed as Director General of the General Office of CAST.

      In May 2021, he was elected member of the Standing Committee and member of the Leading Party Members Group and Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST.

    7. Zhang Guihua
      Member of the Leading Party Members Group, and Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of CAST

      Zhang Guihua, male, ethnic Han, was born in October, 1973.

      Zhang holds a doctorate degree in engineering and is a senior engineer. He is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

      He currently serves as member of the leading Party members group and executive secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), and is nominated as candidate for the Standing Committee of CAST.

      He previously served as Deputy Director of the 49th Research Institute of the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC 49).

      Then he took a post as President of the CETC Network & Communications Group Co., Ltd. (CENC), and concurrently served as Director of the 54th Research Institute of the CETC (CETC 54). Later he was promoted as Chairman of the CENC.

      In April, 2022, he was appointed as President of the China Academy of Electronics and Information Technology of the CETC.

      In June, 2022, he took a temporary post as member of the leading Party members group of CAST, an arrangement of China's capacity building program for officials.

    8. Luo Hui
      Member of the Leading Party Members Group of CAST

      Luo Hui, female, ethnic Bai, was born in September 1968. She holds a doctorate degree in management and is a senior research fellow.

      She is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and currently serves as member of the leading Party members group of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).

      She serves concurrently as Director General of the Department of International Affairs and Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and Director of the China Center for International Science and Technology Exchange (CISTE) of CAST.

      She previously served as Director of the Research Division I of the General Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in the United States.

      Since November 2009, she has successively served as Deputy Director of the Department of Research and Publicity, Director of the China Research Institute for Science Popularization (CRISP), Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Academy of Innovation Strategy (NAIS) of CAST.

      In July 2017, she took a temporary post as member of the Standing Committee and Vice Mayor of Suining City of Sichuan Province, an arrangement of China's capacity building program for officials.

      In July 2019, she served as Director of the CISTE.

      In December 2021, she served as Director General of the Department of International Affairs and Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of CAST. In January 2022, she was appointed member of the leading Party members group of CAST.
