Role of CAST Shanxi branch in building the new countryside confirmed by the local Party committee

At a meeting held recently, the standing committee of the CPC Shanxi provincial committee commended the work of the Shanxi Association for Science and Technology. The meeting decided to include the Shanxi Association for Science and Technology as a constituent member in the leading group of the province¡¯s campaign to build the new countryside. The CAST program of Benefiting the Farmers through Science Popularization is also listed in the key projects of new countryside building. The budget for the Program and related activities will also be increased.
