Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival 2008 opened and China Digital Science and Technology Museum participated in
Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival (HKCCF) 2008 opened on August 22, 2008. As the only public science popularization network platform, China Digital Science and Technology Museum (CDSTM) participated in it and attracted much attention from the Hong Kong public.
Mr. Jiang Yuping, CDSTM project experts and a China Aerospace Engineering Consultation Center researcher, delivered a speech entitled "Towards the Moon" to the public on the second day of the Festival.

Under the theme of "high-definition • digital home", HKCCF 2008 is targeted to promote computerization and enhance life quality. The exhibits are mainly computer hardwares and softwares, computer peripheral products, digital cameras, digital vidicons, personal digital assistants, music players, mobile phones, communication products, computer games, computer communications magazines, books, online services, information technology courses. The exhibition is open to the public and professionals in all sectors. Due to the strongest typhoon over the past 10 years "parrot", the Festival was delayed for one day. The long-awaited public showed great enthusiasm to the event.
