The participants reached the consensus that scarce numbers of leading women talents, irrational structure, and a near absence of women in the backbone on high-end technology and management impede women in science and technology from playing a potentially unique role in cultivating and promoting strategic and emerging industries. The forum's conclusion was that enterprises should institute organic cultivation of women talents for sustainable development and that the government should carry out innovations in human resources training through policies that encourage enterprises to introduce and train high-level women scientists.
