Wang Yuze, chief engineer and senior engineer of China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group, Co., Ltd.

In 1993, as chief architect of Beijing Shanghai High Speed Rail, he led his technology team creatively accomplishing enormous technological breakthrough and criterion establishment on high speed rail and chaired several frontier research projects, results of which have been widely applied to research and design of high speed rail and passenger dedicated railway. All his works have laid a solid foundation for Chinese indigenous innovation on high speed rail and passenger dedicated railway.

The system of "Computer Aided Design for Railway Line", a R&D program chaired by him, accomplished intellegentization for railway line design and, thus was awarded "2006 National Top Engineering Design". He was recognized as "National Informatization Expert for Survey and Design" by China Association for Survey and Design for his excellent achievement in informatization of design.
