Year-end review | 2023 New Media Communication Ranking released by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST)

UPSC has consistently made it onto the New Media Communication Rankings released by CAST. Recently, the annual list for the year 2023 has been released, and UPSC has once again secured a place on the list.

Out of 215 national associations, UPSC secured the eighth position.

The Science Popularization Department and the Information Center of CAST have jointly conducted the evaluation of science popularization informatization. This initiative utilizes big data technology to automatically retrieve science popularization information data from the official online platforms of 215 national associations, 32 provincial-level branches of CAST, and major third-party platforms. Combining this data with the usage and dissemination of resources on China Science Communication, they regularly release the CAST New Media Communication Rankings (Top 20). This edition covers the annual rankings for the year 2023, and subsequent releases will occur on a monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis. Stay tuned for updates.
