Report titled “Research on the Application of Al Technology in the Hydrogen Energy Industry” released
On November 15, 2025 local time, the side event of China Pavilion at COP30 themed “Low-Carbon Technology Innovation and Industrial Practice” was held in Belém, Brazil.
During the side event, the English version of the report titled “Research on the Application of AI Technology in the Hydrogen Energy Industry” was released. The report systematically explores how AI technology can empower the entire hydrogen industry chain, encompassing production, storage, transportation, refueling, and utilization. It not only compiles global best practice cases of “AI + Hydrogen Energy” but also provides an in-depth analysis of the current challenges facing the industry. The report puts forward recommendations for high-quality development, emphasizing the promotion of information sharing and collaborative innovation across sectors, thereby injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.
The report was jointly released by Zou Wei, Director of the Academic Exchange Department of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA), and Gauthier Acket, Global ESG Chief Operating Officer of KPMG.
The side event was co-organized by the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association, the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, the Environmental Development Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, the China Federation of Industrial Economics, and the China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development. It is one of a series of activities organized for the CAST International Month 2025: Openness, Cooperation, Trust. Held under the theme “S.T.I. Bridges, Humanity Orients,” International Month 2025 brings international science and technology organizations, local governments, national societies, and provincial associations together to deepen dialogue and expand cooperation between Chinese and international scientists for shared progress.
