Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM)

MISSIONS:

Based in Asia and radiating globally, build a simulation technology community, committed to international academic exchanges, research on system modeling and simulation technology, education and application development, and promote industrial cooperation.

MAJOR TASKS:

1. Conduct research on theoretical methods and standards in the simulation field and provide consulting services.

2. Build an international academic exchange and cooperation platform, sponsor international journals, regularly hold international academic conferences, and promote experience sharing and business cooperation.

3. Carry out systematic publicity and science popularization activities to increase the awareness and acceptance of simulation technology in the academic and business communities.

4. Establish an international cooperation mechanism for the research and development of common simulation technologies and jointly carry out project research and development.

5. Provide services for the academic and professional development of simulation professionals and cultivate simulation technology talents in Asia.

6. Carry out other cooperation and exchange activities that conform to the purpose of the Federation.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:

ASIASIM actively promotes its strategic framework summarized as "Two Conferences, One Journal, One Platform, One Plan, One Public Welfare". Specifically, these include: organize the Asia Simulation Conference; initiate the Global Simulation Conference (GloSim); publish the International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing (IJMSSC); build an international simulation technology innovation platform and establish an ISO international simulation technology standards working group; promote the "International Simulation Education and Training Plan"; be a socially responsible international scientific and technological organization and carry out science and technology public welfare activities.
