The 17th International Congress of Toxicology held in Beijing

From October 15 to 18, 2025, the 17th International Congress of Toxicology (ICTXVII), jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Toxicology and the International Union of Toxicology, was organized at the Beijing Guoce International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Under the theme “Toxicology for Safe Environment & Healthy Life,” ICTXVII featured plenary presentations by 10 internationally renowned experts. More than 50 symposia were held, comprising 267 oral presentations by scholars.

As a premier event in the global toxicology community, the Congress brought together over 750 experts, scholars, and professionals from more than 60 countries and regions. Participants engaged in extensive exchanges and discussions on the latest scientific advancements, research findings, translational applications, and cutting-edge interdisciplinary topics within toxicology, thereby fostering international cooperation and academic exchange in the field.

The Congress placed significant emphasis on promoting and translating scientific and technological achievements in toxicology. With support from over 60 enterprises and institutions, it served as a bridge connecting industry, academia, and research, facilitating the transition of laboratory discoveries into practical applications that benefit society and contribute to human development.

The event is part of a series of activities organized for the CAST International Month 2025: Openness, Cooperation, Trust. Held under the theme “S.T.I. Bridges, Humanity Orients,” International Month 2025 brings international science and technology organizations, local governments, national societies, and provincial associations together to deepen dialogue and expand cooperation between Chinese and international scientists for shared progress.
