2025 China-Thailand Engineers Capacity Building Program organized in Zhengzhou

From October 12 to 17, the 2025 China-Thailand Engineers Capacity Building Program was organized in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, with nearly 50 participating engineers from China and Thailand.  

Centering around taking new energy as the foundation and exploring intelligent manufacturing, the program focused on new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturing. It featured specialized reports, technical visits, workshops, and automotive culture exchanges, systematically showcasing advanced technological applications and engineering practices in areas such as NEV manufacturing, intelligent connectivity, and green production. The activities aimed to enhance the Thai automotive engineering community’s understanding of China’s comprehensive technological capabilities, innovative achievements, and standard systems across the entire NEV industry chain.  

Participants visited new energy vehicle factories, science education centers, and racetracks for on-site technical inspections. They also engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on cutting-edge technologies in automotive engineering, advanced manufacturing techniques, battery and electronic control systems, and other key areas of new energy vehicle production.  

The program was hosted by the the Chinese Society of Engineers and oganized by the China Society of Automotive Engineers. As part of the series of activities organized for the CAST International Month 2025: Openness, Cooperation, Trust., this event represented a concrete step in enhancing engineering collaboration between China and Thailand. It sought to strengthen practical cooperation in the field of NEV manufacturing, and establish a platform for mutual learning and exchange between engineers from China and Thailand to elevate their professional capabilities.
