CSTM signs a MoC with Sci-bono

2025-03-31

A delegation from the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) visited the Sci-bono Discovery Center in South Africa on March 18, 2025.

The Sci-bono Discovery Center is located in Gauteng Province, Johannesburg, and is the largest science center in Africa.

The two sides signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) this time, establishing a friendly museum mechanism to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages through inter museum cooperation, and promote the common progress of science and culture.

Prior to the signing ceremony, both sides had in-depth exchanges and planned to establish China-South Africa Science Space at the Sci-bono Discovery Center, with the aim of providing excellent scientific education resources for the general public and strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

This move will play an important role in promoting people-to-people exchanges and become a model of cooperation between China and Africa in the field of science and technology venues, contributing to the building of an All-Weather China-Africa Community with a shared future in the New Era.
